I can shake off the shackles of the house Muriel has the chronically progressive type of Multiple Sclerosis and now finds it very difficult and painful to walk just a few steps. She desperately needed a four-wheeled scooter to enable her to get out on her own, as she was totally reliant upon her husband and when he was unwell she was confined to the house. "Thank you so much for your help in obtaining my scooter, it is absolutely marvellous. I can now shake off the shackles of the house and hit the high roads. It's a shame that the weather at this time of the year will kerb my enthusiasm but come the Spring, I'll be off". |
